National Campaign: What does your local green space mean to you
“I’m delighted to be able to have the opportunity to acknowledge the ‘coming of age’ of Groundwork in Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot.
Our communities have experienced massive change since 1979, in the economy, in social conditions and in our distinctive environment. Groundwork has been at the centre of responding and working with that change, enabling regeneration of people as much as place. This continues to resonate directly with the approach to regeneration taken by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Going forward into the next decade we can all be sure we will face more change and we can be confident that given the track record of the last 21 years, Groundwork will rise to the challenge”
Carwyn Jones, AM, First Minister of Wales
