Ashley Stolzenberg, 21, from Maesteg found the lack of local jobs and fierce competition difficult.He now works as an estate worker at Eco Dysgu.
“I asked to be referred on to CTF because I was fed up of being out of work. There aren’t many jobs out there and you face stiff competition for the ones that are available. Not being able to work was getting me down."
Location: Cross Keys, Wales Laura Weeks, 19, from Cross Keys felt that it used to be difficult to find work she really enjoyed doing, but she is now able to fulfil her passion for working with farm animals
Location: Bangor, Wales Laura Edwardes from Penmaenmawr started on Groundwork’s’ job creation programme (Future Jobs Fund) in November 2010 with on a 6 month placement. Laura has successfully been recruited into a job with Environment Agency Wales, as a Flood Awareness Wales Officer
